    5GB Windows Live Skydrive

Windows Live SkyDrive has gotten a makeover. It's capacity has been increased to 5 Gigabyte. Wow. I was on my Skydrive when I noticed that there was 5GB. I was thinking "Am I the only one?". Lol. Another thing, It's Windows Live Skydrive, not Windows Live Skydrive Beta. I'm thinking it's the final version.

    Stop Graffiti!

Here's one of the pictures I made for a project. If you can't see the embedded one, go here: http://cid-4e316f373d02416b.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Public/Stop%20stencil.jpg OR http://boxstr.com/thumbs/small/1099665_rvvoe/Stop%20stencil.jpg

    Fixed?

I think the trouble with the banner and the clock is fixed? Maybe...

    Website trouble

Right now, I'm attempt to fix two HTML modules on this Space: the title and the time. Bear with me.
I received notice that the website that is hosting my title banner (BoxSTR) has some failed servers. I'm going to use Windows Live Skydrive instead.
But as of the clock module problem, I have no idea on the solution.

    Vista SP1 RTM

    Not keeping up this blog.
This is the straight story about Windows Vista RTM (Ready-to-manufacture). Recently, Microsoft gave beta testers throught Microsoft Connect to test out Windows Vista SP1 Beta Refresh 2. They later told us that the Refresh 2 version's code was same as the RTM version's code. So therefore Refresh 2=RTM. The only difference are the build numbers.

    SP1 Beta Refresh 2 Version code= 6001.18000.080118-1840
    SP1 RTM Version code= 6001.18000.080126-2040

I got my hands on a Beta Refresh 2 Version code. I could test what was in the RTM build. There wasn't any graphical update (No secret boot screen, etc). What I could notice was that the copy/cut times are a bit faster. Heres the full list of updates included in SP1 from Microsoft: http://windowsvistablog.com/blogs/windowsvista/pages/windows-vista-service-pack-1-beta-whitepaper.aspx.

The RTM version comes out somewhere in mid-March, 2008. There's been some debate on the exact date, so I'm not going to put up a exact date, but I'm sure it'll be released in March.

If you are a Microsoft Connect Beta Tester and you got the ability to download the Beta Refresh, do so. If you feel unsafe, install it on a Virtual PC.
For those interested, here are the MD5 hashes for the SP1 Beta Refresh 2 AND RTM version:
  • 32-bit (434MB): d597866e93bc8f80ecca234c4e9ce5a2
  • 64-bit (726MB): 983308426e8ee7649f53b41f4e5c42d4

    BORED
I figure out that my Windows Media Player on this Space does not work with FireFox. If you use FF, tough luck. I suggest you change to Internet Explorer 7.

    Title

Well, what do you think? I spend some time working on that and got it published. Took some time.

    Music & Counters

Finally I manage to add some music. Lol. It was fully painstaking. Thanks to D3v from HackMSNSpaces (Visit him at http://d3vmax.spaces.live.com/). I learned how to add multiple sounds/movies on Windows Media Player. The two counters on the left are for different purposes. The top one is a basic hit counter, the amount of people that visited the site. The second one is the amount of visitors online. Now onto that banner...

    Counter and Music

I added a visitor counter on the left side. It just records the hits to the website, no unique visitor or anything special. I was in the process of adding some music to this site but lol, I had some difficulty. I got an invalid character error. The music will be up tommorow or the day after tommorow.

    Windows 7

I just heard that an alpha version of Windows 7 (Or originally called Blackcomb or Viena)(It is also the successor to Windows Vista), came out. It is called Windows 7 M1 (Milestone 1). It is an extremely limited version of Windows 7 that is distributed to very few individuals so they can provide feedback. I really want to test that pre-release.

I also added some Windows 7 wallpapers in my albums to support the "movement". Wink
All credit goes to Frnak of DeviantArt. Visit him at http://frnak.deviantart.com/.

If you want the zipped version, instead of downloading single wallpapers, you can download them at my Skydrive. Access it at the bottom of my Space (Where it says "Files"), Public folder, and then Wallpapers. *Certified Potentially Unwanted Programs (Virus, Trojan, etc.) FREE Open-mouthed*

    Took off the two modules

I had to take off the two modules because they slow the load time of this Space too much. In other words, they were too big. Crying
People who had chance to use those two gadgets before I took off, nice...

Add 2 new modules to this Space

I'm pretty busy because of a Social Studies project in school. But I can still manage blogging. I add two new modules, one is a original Mario game and the other is WLM (Windows Live Messenger). For WLM, you must be one of my friends to contact me. You can use this website for talking to me but I suggest you download the full thing @ http://get.live.com/messenger/overview. For the Mario Game, read the in-game directions but I figured out you can use the "backspace" key to get the white Mario thingy (I played Mario only once).

Lastly, I have some really cool wallpapers I took and downloaded. One is wallpapers from Windows Vista Starter Edition I took. The other is Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) wallpapers I downloaded at http://www.deviantart.com/. You can find 'em in my photo albums. If you download any, be sure to check my brother, Chris's album.

    My Myspace

    Hey people.
I made a MySpace for myself. My friend, the Zaros worshipper himself--Starsky133, convinced me to do so. I soon found out the differences between Windows Live Spaces and MySpace. Live Spaces has a lot of graphical stuff, such as gradients. But MySpace has a lot of functions, such as chat that Live Spaces doesn't have. I prefer Live Spaces more. My MySpace (lol) is still under construction.

    Email Certificates

I learned something new today. Almost anyone can intercept your email while it's out in the cyber world. I found a free website that gives email certificates. You can encrypt your email so only the person that was suppose to read it can read it.

    A reminder

I'm posting on here coz I'm copying some big files. I'm bored right now. If you guys ever reinstall or even upgrade you operating system. ALWAYS download your network card driver from the Internet first. Then put it on a CD or a flash drive. A newly installed operating system won't install your network drivers. So, if you only have one computer at your house and you didn't download the netowork card driver first, you're stuck without Internet.Computer

A Vista Performance Index trick-- By Vishal Gupta

Here's a trick found out by Microsoft MVP Vishal Gupta.
It's a trick to increase your “Windows Experience or Performance Index" to 9.9. (The max on a computer without the trick is 5.9) You can use this to show off to your friends how good of a computer you have.

It's hard to explain on here so I'll just give u the full article URL.

Dual Format and reinstallation of OS

I'm quite busy on dual reinstallations of my OS. I had to reinstall coz Windows XP SP3 Beta and Vista SP1 beta were giving me trouble. I couldn't uninstall Vista SP1 coz the uninstaller disappeared somehow. And the "Pre-released version" expires some time in April.Angry I just felt Vista should reinstalled on my 500GB hard drive (It was originally on my 80GB HD). It deserved more space because I use it more than XP. It's like a 3 day project. Backing up, formatting, reinstalling OS, and reinstalling programs. I'm quite busy.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    3. Actions Taken:

The account: DeltaArbiter is revoked until the individual removes the edited copyrighted material. This decision is made by the Games for Windows team. Furthermore, the Gamertag of DeltaArbiter will be reset to the time when the account created. Lol. Thats not right. Basicly, I was caught for map-modding Sanctuary. Not right, there are millions of modders and people who use auto-aimers. How am I so unlucky enough to get caught? BTW, how did they bypass security on my comp (3 firewalls) and read my files? If they can do that, what can't they do?
